AMC Plugin Developer Docs¶
Applies to AMC 2.0+
Build custom plugins for Auterion Mission Control (AMC) using pure QML -- no compilation, no rebuilds, hot-loadable at runtime.
What can plugins do?¶
AMC plugins let you add custom UI and data logic to the ground station through a set of well-defined hooks:
| Hook | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Data | A QML singleton for shared state and logic across your plugin |
| Settings | A panel on the Settings page under Plugins |
| UpperFlyView | Widgets overlaid on the flight display |
| MenuItemButton | A button in the side menu drawer |
| MenuItemView | A full-screen view tied to your menu button |
| FlyViewTSButton | A circular button in the FlyView tool strip |
| MapItemView | Custom items on the Plan and Fly view maps |
Plugins are packaged as .plugin files (ZIP archives) and dropped into the Auterion Mission Control/Plugins folder. AMC watches this folder and loads or unloads plugins on the fly -- no restart needed.
